Country Livin' Christmas Tour

I'm joining in Boo Mama's Christmas Tour, Hooked on Holiday House Tours, Rhoda at Southern Hospitality and A Soft Place to Land. It’s kind of a home tour a poloza. Come on in and have a look!

Welcome to the farm. We’ve got plenty of room for company and it’s always a good time to stop by.

Take off your coat and stay a while.

Come on in and sit by the fire. It’s cold out there!!

I’ve decorated the timbers up high in the air.

And Our Lady’s rosary room has a certain flair.

A little touch here and a little touch there.

After we visit I’ll get the table prepared. We’ll have something yummy to keep us all warm.

Before we head back out in the storm!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for stopping by. May the birth of our Lord and his promise of salvation bring you peace.

Julia, Allyouwhohope & Jen Jen:

Thanks you for visiting. Our fireplace goes every evening and really makes the harth room cosy.

I designed the actual fire box higher off the ground than typical so the fire can be seen & enjoyed from the kitchen and the loft too. It's a focal point but I wanted it to be open to the entire space.

Great home! I love your stairs, and the picture of the barn in the snow is very pretty.

Hi, Anne Marie, thanks for playing a long in my Christmas tour! I have had a hard time visiting all those links, but it sure has been fun. Thanks for the compliments & believe me, I'm not a pro at photos, I just do the best I can with my Canon point and shoot. I've had it almost a year & have gotten a lot better with my photography by playing around with the settings.

One thing I'd say on your blog is work on getting your pics bigger. If you load them larger, that will help a lot. I did a post not long ago about enlarging pics, if you want to take a look.

Merry Christmas & please come back & visit me again!

Jerri:

Thank you for the compliment on the stairs, it's a favorite feature of ours too. With regards to the snow I'll be happy to share some if you like, not a favorite feature.

Rhoda:

I really struggle with photos. When I assemble the post in Word they are a perfectly reasonable size, but in blogger they get squished. I'm not sure why.

I will check out your post, because I'm photo challenged.
